The proceedings from this auction will go to Breakthrough. Thereby, StyleKandy will be celebrating fashion with a heart.

Ms Bhanu Mehra, lead actress of the movie “Varudu” launched the website www.bridalshowindia.com in Hyderabad.

40 top of the line models, leading celebrity designers like Ritu Kumar, Lina Tipnis and Archana Kochchar besides Sahil Gulati from Hyderabad and 6 other new designers from across India will be showcasing their ensemble in this first of its kind exclusive wedding show of twin cities.

The show will feature an exhibition cum business section wherein, participating designers, boutiques and accessories manufacturers will display their products. This section would be open to public. There would also be an imminent section where participating designers would be staging the fashion shows.

The Italian fashion and luxury group Versace announced its chief executive Giancarlo di Risio is stepping down from the post. This was decided though a mutual consent after a board meeting.

So, rumors became a reality…Gianni Versace SpA and its CEO Giancarlo Di Risio after a “mutual decision” have decided to put a halth to their long-time partnership. Though, according to Di Risio, he shall remain associated with the company which he has served since 2004, for transitional period until a suitable successor is found fit for the job.

For several past weeks, the fashion world has been experiencing rumors of such an event. It was beiing cited that the reason behind the incident is perhaps due to creative differences prevailing between Di Risio and Donatella Versace, who happen to hold a 20% stake in the firm and is supported by daughter Allegra Versace Beck, who herself inherited a 30% stake after her uncle Gianni Versace passed away in 1997.

Seen, at the after-party for the Hollywood premiere of “The Proposal”, the amusing actress had everyone attentive towards her. She stars in this new romantic comedy opposite Ryan Reynolds, who is 11 years younger than her, yet seeing the intensifying nude scene the two share in the movie, it almost made her appear like a 16-year-old.
