Pakistani legend Noor Jehan remains alive in our hearts…in our fashion lines!
Pakistani top fashion designer Ms. Nilofer Shahid showcased her collection based on the theme “Empress Noor Jehan & Josephine”, which presented a beautiful blending in costume designs portraying East-meets-West in an immaculate fashion.
The fashion show was a significant part of a treasured evening organized by the Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver (in collaboration with National Foods of Pakistan, Fruits Experts, Diamond Carpets, SB Productions and Media Partner City TV) which celebrated with pride folk Pakistani music, fashion and food in the Grand Ballroom of Westin Bayshore Hotel, on Friday, June 26, 2009.
Pakistan undoubtedly being one of the most culturally-rich and socially diverse places in the world. The event was held to reveal to the world the wonders of Pakistan – in its music, food and of course, fashion.
