Futuristic Trends are being witnessed a lot on ramps these days. Designers all over the world are trying to experiment with eccentric styles in clothes using contemporary color scheming, bringing forwards designs with an innovative fashion scene. It’s 2010 and global fashion world is on the verge of revealing newer dimensions – The Generation Next Fashion is on!
Designer Pierre Garroudi is a firm disciple of molding futuristic fashion trends in his collection. He often has something offbeat and original, away from the common design symbology adopted by majority of designers.
This collection communicates a message from the future – Fashion in days to come. A pure work out of rich imagination and ageless designs, this collection tells the narration of striking compilation and perfect interpretation of modernity.
Pierre Garroudi was born in Teheran, Iran. He studied in Paris, while working as a hairdresser in his spare time and moved to New York in 1986. There he joined the Fashion Institute of Technology. After gathering experience from various retail and design houses, Garroudi set out on a journey to discover his own talent, which paved way for his own label in 1993. He has his own unique identity in terms of designs. Two words – Amusingly creative and provocative best describe his work.
It’s Garroudi who brought the ‘color per season’ trend for the first time, covering his models with just one color from head to toes of only one color. This infact is a tremendous challenge to balance between prettiness and ugliness and Garroudi draws a fine line between the two, pushing the boundaries in fashion.
His Autumn/Winter collection for 2010 will be showcased in a catwalk show in the valentine month -February, 2010. It’s ‘Love in the air’ for Garroudi’s 2010 ensemblage.
